January 30, 1933 Adolf Hitler, leader of the Nazi party, elected chancellor of Germany
March 22, 1933 The Nazis open there first concentration camp in Germany
September 15, 1935 Nuremberg laws decreed. Marriages and relationships between Jew and Germans outlawed. The laws also stripped German Jews of their citizenship and civil rights.
November 9-10 1938 Kristallnacht - program against Jews, perpetrated by SA paramilitary forces and German civilians.

May 19, 1943 Berlin is declared Judenfrei ( free of Jews )
August 4, 1944 Anne Frank and her family are arrested in Amsterdam and sent to Auschwitz
July 224, 1944 Majanek becomes the first concentration camp liberated by the Russians, Over 360,000 people had been murdered here.
May 8, 1944 Hoss returns to oversee the extermination of Hungarian Jews.
January 27, 1945, Auschwitz is liberated by Russian Troops.
