January 30th- Adolf Hitler, leader of the Nazi party, elected chancellor of Germany
1935
September 15th- Nuremberg laws decreed. Marriages and relationships between Jews and Germans outlawed. the laws also Stripped German Jews of their citizenship and civil rights.
1938
November 9-10- Kristallnatch - program against Jews, perpetrated by SA paramilitary forces and German civilians
1940

November 15th- The Warsaw Ghetto is sealed off, with more than 400,000 Jews inside.

July- SS Einsatzgruppen commits mass murder of Jews in occupied lands as it follows the advancement of the German Army

July 19th- Operation Reinhard ordered by Himmler - mass deportation of Polish Jews to exterminate camps. Marks deadliest phase of the holocaust
October 5th- Himmler orders all Jews imprisoned in concentration camps in Germany to be sent to Auschwitz and Majdanek
