*MEANING
A noun is a person, place or thing/concept
e.g. Mr Jones,, The station, a book, love.
FORM
- In a sentence a noun is
preceded by an article such as 'a' or the.
It can be uncountable or countable.
Adding 's denotes the plural form.
Usage
Nouns are usually the subject or object of a sentence. Topic based categories of nouns are good ways to teach vocabulary. E.g. Classroom objects, Chinese New Year items. You can also generate a sentence adding an adjective, adverb and verb to the noun.
