For example, when I had told them about my clinical depression, they were all very supportive. They each told me that they were there if I needed them.

Freddy (dog)
-
My dog promises to keep me calm and relaxed when I have my crying spells. He is always there to lick my tears away and make me laugh.
Pastor Andrew and Emily
-
Both of my pastors at Peninsula Hope Church promise to pray for me. Often after the Sunday services, they have a small prayer group at the church, where those with illnesses or are struggling in life are able to open up to God.
This past Sunday, the pastors and my family were able to pray about the difficult things that had occurred in our lives.
Sabrina (best friend)
-
Sabrina promises to be there for me when I need to rant or ask for advice. Although we don't often see each other, we still hang out and pick up where we left off the last time we met.
Chieko Kuhara (grandma)
-
My grandma promises to always be on my side no matter what. She makes me laugh whenever I call her and sends me little gifts from Japan whenever I feel down.
Whenever I have a conflict outside of my family such as volleyball or school, she takes my side and supports my decisions. She occasionally suggests what I can do to make the situation better and loves me nevertheless.
Regan Young

He goes to work every day to provide us with everything we need. He sometimes even take time off to spend time with us and care for our health.
Rieko Young (Mom)

My mom promises to love me unconditionally and do what is best for me. She is always there if I need to talk to her about anything.
Since my mom's health hasn't been at its best, she has been taking time off work, especially because she recently broke her wrist. Because of this, she and I are able to spend more time together to talk about our worries and concerns for each other, as well as my dad.
Dani Young (cousin)
-
My cousin and I aren't very close, but she reaches out to me in times of need. We are both working on building a closer relationship.
During family gatherings, she would make efforts to talk to me and ask how I'm doing.
my music
-
The songs on my playlist promise to change my mood depending on the songs that play. The different songs are able to change my mood. If I'm mad or sad, a happy song can immediately change how I feel.
Moreau (school)
-
My school promises to provide me with a good education. For the most part, it is a supportive community. In each class, I am able to learn new things and ask for help from teachers.
Ken Athey (therapist)
-
My therapist promises to help me reorganize my thoughts and listen to what I have to say in order for me to relieve stress.
Every week, my therapist and I meet up to talk about how I feel and what has been overwhelming me lately. I only recently started going, but he has been writing down notes and going over how I can organize my mind.
