These are my parents, Charis & Greg. They promise to always take care of me and love me unconditionally. They've put this promise into action by just everything that they do for my brother and I, and always doing their best to make our lives better.
These are my classmates from my old school who also still go to Moreau with me. They have promised to always be a group of people who I can count on and who I've grown up with. They've shown this promise by always being a community I can find comfort in, and come back to, and who will always be there for me.
This is Sonia, my grandma. She promises to always watch over me and guide me to do the right thing, while also just loving me even through our differences. She shows this promise by just shwoing up everyday to watch and cook for my brother and I, and for basically changing her whole life when my brother and I were born so that she could take care of us.
This Hailey, one of my best friends from Moreau. As my friend, she's promised to always support and be there for me even when everything is crazy. She's put this promise into action by just sticking with me through all the hard stuff going in school and in life, and just being a safe place I can go whenever.
This is Cadence, another one of my close friends from Moreau. As my friend, we also promise to love and support each other through anything, and also always look out for one another. She puts this promise into action by giving me advice and encouragement when I need it, and also by coming to support every show or performance I have, no matter how big or small.
This is my brother, Zavier. He promises to always be there for me, and be my greatest confidant when nobody else can be there. He puts this promise into action by always making me laugh and being someone I can talk to when I'm sad.
This is Isabelle, my best friend since kindergarten. She promises to always be trustworthy and loyal, and no matter how far away we are from each other, we will always be there for each other. She's put this promise into action by still being my closest friend even though we don't go to the same school anymore, and still doing activities outside of school like confirmation with me.
These are my cousins Lauryn, Jacob, Quinn, Sadie, and Teru. As my family, they promise to always love and be there for me, and to always take care of each other. They put this promise into action by visiting me and cheering me up when i'm sad.
This is 2019-20's sophomore council. As my fellow student leaders, they promise to collaborate as a team to improve the well-being of our students and community. We put this promise into action, by working hard and dedicating our time to plan events for our class like spirit week and homecoming.
This is Carly. She's been one of my closest friends since we met on our Caritas retreat in sixth grade, and we've only grown closer since being at Moreau together. She promises to always keep me at my best, and encourage me to do my best and try my hardest even when I'm not very motivated. She puts this promise into action by just always looking out for new opportunities for us, and even when I'm unsure of something, she just encourages me to take chances and do better.
This is Abigail, another one of my close friends at Moreau. We were friends last year, but have gotten a lot closer this year and she promises to always check up on me and be there to make me laugh and feel better when i'm sad. She keeps this promise by always calling me just to ask how my day was, and to always be someone I can talk to when something is up.
These are some of my fellow members of Moreau's Filipino Student Association (FSA) when we performed in the parade and show of San Francisco's Pistahan Festival last summer. As the Filipino club at Moreau we promise to find ways to represent and share our culture with the rest of our Moreau community. We fulfill this promise by putting together events like Philippine Culture Night and other cultural performances like in the Pistahan Festival and during Culture Week.
