World War 1 was mostly fought in trenches adding things such as barbed wire to make it harder for the enemy to get to them. No soldier wanted too have to climb the trench and get shot at by the opposing trenches
New weapons were invented in world war 1, including mounted machine guns, regular machine guns, and gasses that would be thrown into the trenches and burn the enemies.

In this propaganda, It is trying to challenge these people to join the army by having a sign next to these soldiers that says that its fit for a fit soldier. People who are competitive will join to try to prove that they are fit.
There was many different types of propaganda. There is Testimonial, Emotional words, bandwagon, transfer, false connections.

Civil liberties are guarantees and freedoms that liberal governments commit not to abridge, either by legislation or judicial interpretation, without due process. During WW1, It was mainly white men with civil liberties.

Civil Liberties are close to the same thing as civil rights. One civil liberty is freedom of speech. Freedom of speech means you re allowed to speak your mind on anything in the US.
Another civil liberty is freedom of press, The press is allowed to investigate/ do stories on anything they'd like as long as it is not false information being portrayed as real.
