- - - - Step 2: Pattern pre-assessment
        I will have the children complete a pre-assessment to see where they currently stand in comparison with the targeted KUDs

        Warm-up dance to get the students moving and to introduce the concept of ABC pattern.
        
        I will take this time to evaluate the pattern worksheets and to divide the groups according to the results
        
        Step 3: Grouping & differentiated Activities - The pre-assessment yielded they following results and groupings
        
        Basic group: 5 Students struggled to complete any of the patterns
        
        The Basic group will select their favourite Colour Pattern Guides and use it to guide them through the bracelet making process

        3 EAL students: The visual nature of the Colour Pattern Guide will ensure that the students are able to follow the visual representation of the activity without additional assistance.
        *If they still do not understand the concept, then an EAL teacher or a peer will explain it to them.

        2 Special needs candidates: For these students, I will allow them to explore the room with a teacher to see what the other students are doing. Once they find a student/station that they seem comfortable with, the said student/station will be able to assist them with the bracelet creation process.

        Proficient group: 5 Students completed all the patterns correctly
        
        The Proficient group will work independently to create their bracelets for their family members by rolling the Alphabet Dice 6 times to create and write their own ABC pattern and by following the Colour Code guide they will repeat the colou patter until the bracelet is complete

        Intermediate group: 12 Students completed most of the patterns correctly
        
        The Intermediate group will create their bracelets by selecting their 3 favourite colours on the Colour Label and then they will use the ABC Pattern guides to create their bracelets.
