Emilia
My sister promises to be there for me whenever I'm in trouble. She promises to stick around for my bright and happy days as well as my sad days. She also promises to love me and guide me when I feel sad or lost.
Last year when I was struggling with my biology homework my sister stayed with me and helped me to finish my work even though she had a lot of homework too. She had the same class as me her freshman year so she helped with explaining things to me and she didn't leave even when I was getting impatient or frustrated.

My mom promises to support and watch over me. She also promises to love and provide for me and guide me in my time of need. In addition she promises to stay by my side when I'm sad or happy or stressed in general.
My mom pays for my tuition at Moreau so that I can go to school here and get a better education so that I'll have better opportunities in the future.

Younger Brother
My younger brother promises to love me and never put me down about myself or my choices. My brother also, despite being younger than me, promises to protect me just like how I protect him. He also promises to listen to me if I need someone to talk to or have my back if I ever need extra support.

MCHS Soccer
My high school soccer program promises to help me improve my soccer skills while at the same time providing a fun environment for me to learn and make mistakes.
One time during practice when I made a mistake my coaches encouraged me to laugh and they helped by explaining what I did wrong and what to do instead.

My dad promises to love and support me and my decisions no matter what happens(just like my mom). He also promises to defend me and help cheer me up by laughing with me or just spending time with me when I'm feeling down. He also promises to give me advice when I'm lost but at the same time ultimately leave my decisions up to me this way he lets me have my freedom to succeed and make mistakes.

One time when I was in a huge argument with my mom in eighth grade, my dad stuck by me and listened to me when I just needed someone to talk to. He gave me advice about what I should do to make it up to her and he made me laugh when the argument was really making me depressed and sad.

My school promises to educate me and prepare me for life outside of school. In addition my school promises to help me get into a college so l can continue to get a good education even after high school.

MCHS XC
Fall sports program
Moreau XC promises to help me improve my running at my pace instead of rushing me. In addition the program promises to challenge me but not too much where I'll be drained by the end.
During our practices my coaches let me and my sister complete our workouts at our own pace instead of pressuring us to meet the paces of out falser runners. The coaches accepted our current pace and didn't pressure us to be immediately as good as everyone else. Instead the let us work at our own speed.

My visual art program promises to give me a space to express myself freely through art. This program also promises to give me my individuality this way I don't have to conform myself to one form of art.
Whenever we have a new assignment for art class my teacher lets me choose what I want the focus of my piece to be about. In addition my teacher lets me choose how I want to make my piece and she doesn't judge me when my ideas are different than hers.

My house promises to shelter and protect me and my family during times of need. It promises to provide a space for us to feel open and comfortable and its promises us a space to relax and escape from the harsh weather that occurs every now and then. In addition it promises us place where we can make and store memories.
There was a really bad rainstorm a few years ago, so much so that the district decided to cancel school. During the storm our house protected us from the rain and gave us a space to watch movies and escape from the cold.

My friend, Adrianna promises not to lie to me about anything and overall be honest.
She also promises to make me happy if I'm feeling upset or sad. In addition she promises not to talk behind my back and to help me if I'm struggling with homework or a certain assignment.
When I failed a math quiz this year, my friend helped to cheer me up by taking me to Subway to get a treat that she payed for. Afterwards she comforted me and told me not to let I get to me too much because it wasn't worth worrying about.
Myself
I promise to love myself and to never put myself down about my body or my personality or overall any aspect of myself. I've struggles with loving myself in the past like anyone else but I've recently made a commitment to myself that I will learn to appreciate my flaws rather than look down on them, or just try to look at the best in myself first rather than the worst in myself first like I usually did.
When I was younger and these girls used to make snarky comments about my weight I wouldn't let it get to me that they were right because they weren't.
