Skill Building
Activity: Compare and Contrast Primary and Secondary Sources.
Students given opportunity to practice developing their higher order thinking skills by comparing and contrasting primary and secondary sources using a Venn diagram.
Analyzing Primary and Secondary Sources
Assessment:
Think-Ink-Pair-Share - Student reflect on their analysis of the documents they were tasked to review. They write up a summary of their analysis and in pairs discuss their learning with their peers.

(Highest performing students)
Enrichment
Activity:
Students review and analyze World War Two propaganda posters. They will then design and produce their own propaganda poster aimed at a contemporary audience and focused on a contemporary issue/conflict as their inspiration.
Assessment:
Peer Reviews based on rubrics. Students would be given rubrics to complete peer assessments.
