A 22 year old male bodybuilder comes into the hospital because he believes that his testicles are less than half their original size. He's worried they will continue to shrink and affect his fertility and sex drive. Upon further questioning it is discovered that for the last several months he has been injecting himself with a potent synthetic anabolic steroid in attempts to further increase his muscle mass. He wants to know how the steroids could cause testicular shrinkage and if there are other side effects he could experience.
