The Verb
Characteristics
• It constitutes a unit of thought in prayer by expressing the enunciative, deiderative, interrogative and imperative attitude of which he speaks.
• Place its meaning and that of the whole sentence in the present, past or future.

• Through the endings, expresses the grammatical person of the subject, synthetically joining the two immediate constituents of the sentence, subject and predicate.
