Hernan Cortes
There he had news of the existence of the Aztec Empire inside, whose capital was said to hold great treasures, and prepared for its conquest.
Hernán Cortés studied briefly at the University of Salamanca. In 1504 he went to the Indies, recently discovered by Christopher Columbus, and established himself as a scribe and landowner in Hispaniola (Santo Domingo).
He was acquitted of all the accusations and was even named Marquis of the Valley of Oaxaca, in addition to retaining the honorary position of Captain General, although without governmental functions.
Franciasco Pizarro
Gonzalo Pizarro, from a young age participated in local wars between mansions and accompanied his father in the wars of Italy. In 1502 he embarked on the fleet that led the Indies to Nicolás de Ovando, the new governor of Hispaniola.
Pizarro prepared a new conquest expedition, and in January 1531 he embarked with a contingent of 180 men and 37 horses to Peru.

Pedro de Alvarado

In 1535, Emperor Carlos V rewarded him with the governorship of Nueva Toledo, in southern Peru, and the title of advance in the lands beyond Lake Titicaca.
Almagro was dedicated from then on to the exploration of the southern territories of the Inca Empire, in present-day Chile, to the Aconcagua Valley.
Panfilo Narvaez
In 1526 he obtained a capitulation to explore the lands of present-day Florida, in addition to his appointment as an advance of the lands he explored.
Pánfilo de Narváez entered the interior of the country, attracted by the rumors of the existence of a town or place rich in gold. Against the opinion of its officer Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca
Narváez recognized his defeat and the sovereignty of Cortes over Mexican territories, he did not dare to release him until 1523, as he considered him a dangerous enemy.
Francisco de orellana

When the civil war broke out between Francisco Pizarro and Diego de Almagro, Orellana did not hesitate to opt for his relative.
Orellana was unanimously elected captain of the group. It was decided to build a new brig, which was named Victoria, and continue along the river to the open sea.
