- - - - Indoctrinate: Inculcating and imposing a set of ideas.
  - - - The National Socialist Teachers League: The National Socialist Teacher's League (NSLB, NationalSozialistische Lehrerbund) was established and its influence and interference grew. By 1937, it included 97% of all teachers and 2/3 of the profession had been on a special month-long course on Nazi ideology and the changes to the curriculum.
    - - German language and literature were taught so people could feel the pride of being German, this was to create 'a consciousness of being German.' The idea was to create a nationalistic spirit.
        
        On the recommended reading for 14 years old there were books, including 'The Battle of Tannenberg'. The book includes a passage where it states "A Russian soldier tried to bar the infiltrator's way, but Otto's bayonet slid gratingly between the Russian's ribs, so that he collapsed groaning. There he lay before him, smoke and distinguished, his dream's desire, the Iron Cross." This was used to promote Germany and boast about how they should be proud of the country they live in.
      - Biology was the subject where pupils could be taught Nazi racial theory: ethnic classification, population policy and racial genetics - these are all included on the syllabus.
        
        Population policy: In 1933-45 the Nazi government aimed to increase the birth rate.
      - History: This was given a special place in the curriculum. This Was to promote the glories of Germany.
