explain the different forms of discrimination -

sexuality - Human sexuality is the way people experience and express themselves sexually.

age - length of time someone has lived for

class - the concept of class as a collection of individuals sharing similar economic circumstances

disbilibilty - a physical or mental condition that limits a person's movements, senses, or activities.

culture - term which encompasses the social behavior and norms found in human societies

race - A race is a grouping of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into categories generally viewed as distinct by society.

gender - is your biological sex e.g male and female

prejudice - judging someone without knowledge or opinion

labelling - attaching a name to someone based on how they look

stereotype - a belief about a person based on how they look

different types of abuse -

verbal - picking on someone by using effensive words

sexual - harming someone sexually e.g rape

neglect - ignoring / isolating individuals needs

physically - physically harm someone e.g kick, hit, slap

emotional - causing emotional harm, causing distress e.g i'm leaving you

bullying - treating someone in a negative way consistently or a one of incident (based on characteristics)

indirect discrimination - when a policy applies to everybody but has a determined effect on some people

direct discrimination - intentionally putting someone at a disadvantage or treating them unfairly

people are physically or mentally disabled e.g depression and anxiety
