MUNICIPAL PERMITS
Electrical Permit
Electrical permits are required for all electrical wiring installed in or on buildings
Electrical Operating Permit
BRITISH COLUMBIA
Those who own, operate or maintain the following electrical equipment
Sign Permit
A permit is required to alter, erect, place, demolish, or remove signs, sign boards, advertisements, and advertising devices or structures.
Commercial Vehicle Decal
Vehicles used for commercial purposes must have and display a valid Commercial Vehicle Licence Decal issued by their Municipality.
Business Licence
If you will be carrying on of a commercial or industrial undertaking of any kind or nature or the providing of professional, personal or other services for the purpose of gain or profit you will require a valid Business Licence.
Building Permit
A building permit is required prior to any construction, reconstruction, installation, repair, alteration, or demolition being carried out on any building or structure.
Board of Variance Permit
A permit to vary zoning bylaw requirements (excluding use and density) on a parcel of land.
Waste Discharge Permit
Waste discharge permits are issued to industries, businesses or other operations that discharge significant non-domestic wastewater flows (greater than 10 cubic metres per day), discharge greater than 2 cubic metre of clean water per day or wastewater containing specified chemical contaminants into the sanitary sewer.
