- An idea that interested me in this chapter is how there are names for all these different types of listening. In the back of my mind I knew there was different types of listening such as selective hearing but never knew there are so many different types.
- Something that has me confused in this chapter is nothing. I honestly thought that this chapter on listening was pretty straight forward. I feel like I have a good understanding on the concepts.
In my life, I have said both counterfeit questions and sincere questions. I would like to think that most of my question are sincere but I have for sure asked a question that is more like a statement or that I want to have one answer to
When I was younger and even now I have selective listening. I would ignore a lot of things my parents would say to me but only "hear" the things I wanted to hear like about food or going somewhere.
