Marco Polo
- He traveled to China and met Kublai Khan, Kublai Khan sent Marco Polo on trips all over China. After returning to Europe, Marco Polo wrote a book about his adventures.

- its a way of showing people things as they appear at different distances. Perspective was used by artists to make paintings look realistic.
