Computer Misuse Act 1990
Unauthorised access to computer material. e.g hacking
Unauthorised access with intent to commit further offences. e.g. stealing data to blackmail
Unauthorised acts with intent to impair the operation of a computer. e.g. Hacking and altering information or a virus

3.a) Making, supplying or obtaining anything which can be used in computer misuse offences.
Data Protection Act 1998

Businesses must perform a risk assessment for workstations
Employees must receive breaks from looking at screens.
Employees have a right to a yearly eye test. Paid by employer.
Employees using computers must receive health and safety training for any workstation they use.
Employees must receive adequate information on the health and safety risks related to their workstation and the regulations identified above.
