Odysseus' house is full of suitors who thinks he's dead who want to marry Penelope, Telemachus sets for a sail to Sparta. Suitors plan to ambush him and kill him.
Odysseus was trapped in the island controlled by Calypso who fell in love with him. Later as he sailed he defeated a Cyclops who later asked revenge from Poseidon.
Odysseus' crew was trapped in Circe's grip but later enjoyed Circe's luxury life because Circe fell in love with Odysseus
Odysseus was helped by Phaeacians who recognized his wit. He later disguised as a beggar and returned

After suitors tried and failed, Odysseus succeeded also killed Antinous, then he revealed himself, killed all the suitors who wanted Penelope's hands.
