The Loch Ness Monster
In 1939, a photograph of an unknown creature was captured. It was a long-necked creature which looked like an ancient dinosaur - Elasmosaurs. People over the world started to visit the Loch Ness Lake to see if they're lucky enough to witness the monster with their own eyes. Til today, people live in Highland, Scotland still claim that they see weird ripples showing up out of no where and there is a huge shadow swimming near the surface of the lake very often.
Story Circle
Cooper excels in his studies and has outstanding research on biology, leading him to finsih his studies earlier than anyone.
His prodigy gave him a head start in his career, receiving quite a bit of reputation in the biology field for such early success
However, his advantage did not lead him to any greater success unlike his counterparts who come after him, rather, he led a quite normal and stale research live.
Seeing other's accomplishment in the same field, it urges him to publish something jaw-dropping to gain his pride, respect and reputation back
He encountered the unfinished studies on the Noch Less Monster which was presented to him by his predecessors. He tried to pick up from where they left off.
Thinking he might need a retreat and to see it himself whether the legends are true. He foresees a prosperous and fruitful reward from publishing a research on a mythological creature people hardly believe in.
He was on the bank of the lake, enjoying the seclusion and waiting for the sighting of the monster.
After almost a week of waiting, he found himself defeated and fooled by the purely fantastical creature appearence promised by his seniors.
