Praise: Positive reinforcement is a great way to promote positive behaviors and deter from negative behaviors.

Creating a behavioral chart where students can earn points or stars and at the end of the month or quarter, you are able to give prizes
CICO: Check In Check Out, a student will need to check in daily with an adult at the start of the school to retrieve a goal sheet, will receive feedback throughout the day and will need to check out with the same adult.
Counselor Referral: This is a big intervention for inappropriate language and may be combined with other behavioral issues. One must get written consent and permission from legal guardian.

Tier 2 and 3 are similar for inappropriate language intervention. While CICO has more one on one time with the student, another way to intervene with behavior is to use a behavioral form. The teacher would review the student's behavior and discuss with the student how they feel, why they feel that way and what to change or do differently.
Talk one on one: Either during recess or during an activity, talk to the student privately.
Card Flip Behavior Chart: Provide the students a behavioral chart that can flip their card when they break a rule immediately.
Mentoring: Assign with one adult that is not the teacher. A mentor should create a rapport with the student and connect with the student in a variety of ways.
