Citizen feedback- :pencil2: online feedback, local community clinics asking for what patients would like to see available locally. Or health bodies (Alberta Health) providing "town halls". Patients should also be able to remark on quality of care from specific HCPs
Green :check: (1,2): these services are likely more culturally safe because their services are paid for privately, and they will try to meet the needs of the patients
Red :warning: (1,2): These are likely lower culturally safe because they are fast paced environments that won't necessarily focus on aspects outside of physical health
Blue :red_flag: (1,2): These are a mix of both possibly safe or not because programs like health promotion aim to be culturally sensitive, but many services like workers compensation can cause further barriers for people returning to work. This can further promote inequities.
Green :check: (3-5): These are also likely culturally safe because these are part of governmental mandates. Although they may be inclusive in policy development, program development may show otherwise. Developing resources like varying food guides is good, but few programs use this resource or have it available at clinics
:star: denotes areas where supervisory and regulatory roles should provide education modules that need to be included for education credits. Modules surrounding ways to implement a culturally safe environment.
