- - - - Hel - the queen of Hel (one of the nine realms on the world tree, Yggdrasil). She controls the dead, those of whom did not die noble and brave deaths in battle.
      - Jormungundur - known as the "midgard serpent". This creature is a known and great enemy of Thor.
      - Fenrir - a great, mighty and viscous wolf.
- - - - His mother was Jord, and he has three children; Modi, the angry, Magni, the strong, and Thrud, the powerful. His wife is Sif.
      - The defender of Asgard and of Midgard.
      - Odin's son, known as the god of thunder. He is a straightforward god, red-bearded, the strongest of all the gods. He carries his magical strength-bearing belt (Megingjord) and his weapon of choice, Mjollnir, his hammer.
    - - The son of Laufey and Farbauti, a very dangerous giant. He is the brother of Odin and isknown to be both the betrayer and friend of Thor.
      - He makes the world more interesting, but less safe He is the father of many monsters and a very sly god. He and his children will be there for Ragnarok.
      - Loki is known as the Norse god of trickery. His is cunning, convincing, sublte, and "very handsome." He also holds a lot of anger, envy, and lust within the darker parts of himself.
    - - Known as the all-father, Odin travels from place to place in disguise, to see the world as people see it, as a tall cloaked man with a hat. His two ravens, Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory) relay information to Odin from traveling around the nine realms.
      - Odin is a child of two giants, Bor and Bestla. Bor and Bestla are grandchildren of Ymir, the ancestor of all the giants. Odin's two brothers are Vili and Ve, and the three together would go on to kill Ymir due to the inescapablility of their location of birth (in between Niflheim and Muspell).
      - Awaits soldiers escorted by the Valkyries, who died honorably in battle, in Valhalla. There, they will all drink and feast.
