The Egyptian economy was based on fluvial agriculture and trade. They also cultivated cereals, legumes, grapes and flax. They also ate fish from the Nile, that also is the main means of transport for people and goods.
TRADE
They sold cereals wine and craftwork made of clay or glass and precious stones.
They bought wood, metal and slaves from other countries.
TYPES OF HOUSES
The ruling class were the pharaons,priests and important goverment officials, they lived in large houses or palaces. They have many people that serve tham.
Their children went to school.
The rest of the people lived in houses made of adobe, wood or reeds. They oly have one storey. The roofs were used to dry crops and sleep in hot summer nights
