DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION (DT)
DT is the process of using digital technologies to create new - or modify existing - business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements.
DT involves the incorporation of current technologies into the products, processes and strategies.
The DIGITAL WORKPLACE (DW) is the concept that businesses should use DT to align technology, employees and business processes to improve operational efficiency and meet organizational goals.
2. SOCIAL COLLABORATION
Communication is structured and organized clearly - depending on the strategic aim, either between employees or with partners and customers. Documents can also be shared with the authorized colleagues, meaning they are easier to access and find.
-
3. DATA INTEGRATION
The architecture of the Digital Workplace becomes an interface between various programs. The complexity of the integration is hidden to the end users.
4. PROCESS OPTIMIZATION
Processes run according to defined workflows. Many tasks can be accomplished directly from the personal dashboard (e.g. approval processes). Automatic reminders ensure important tasks will no longer be forgotten.
5. APPLICATIONS
Every employee is provided with their own personal dashboard where they can easily and quickly find their way round. Employees only sees the information relevant to them and to which they have acess.
1. MOBILITY
Employees decide where and when they work. The result is important, not the physical presence. Work takes place where the employee feels comfortable and is productive.
