Activity
Children are to complete the Farm Animal-Habitat Matching Worksheet by matching each animal (Pig, Sheep, Duck and Chicken) to their habitat (Sty, Pen, Pond and Coop).

To develop a positive self-concept by developing the confidence to carry out simple tasks on their own.

To reflect on their prior knowledge regarding animals and their habitats to complete the Farm Animal-Habitat Matching Worksheet.

Farm Animal Song Lyrics
Activity
1.The teacher will demonstrate how to sing the Farm Animal Song.
As the teacher introduces a new animal into the song, the children are to sing along and imitate the behavior of that animal.

"From Milk to Cheese" Worksheet
Activity
Children are to watch a video of how cheese is made from milk.
Then, the teacher will pick a few of them to share about what they have learnt based on the information provided on the worksheet.
Afterwards, the children are to jot down on their worksheet about what they have learnt.

To acquire vocabulary in relation to how cheese is made from milk.

To identify characteristics of 4 farm animals - Pig, Sheep, Chicken and Duck.

To develop socially acceptable behaviours such as taking turns and listening to the views of others while collaborating for the matching activity.
Materials Required
Farm Animals Matching Board 2. Animal Picture Cards 3. Animal Habitat Cards 4. Animal Sound Cards 5. Animal No. of Legs Cards
Activity
Children are to collect a matching board and a bag of cards.
Read the titles labelled on the board (I am a, I live in a, I have __ legs, I make the sound) for each row and choose the correct card from the bag to place on the board.
To complete the activity, finish matching all the cards for all 4 animals - Pig, Sheep, Chicken and Duck.
Motor Skills Development
Materials Required
Container 2. Box 3. Water 4. Pencils 5. Needles 6. Rubber Gloves
Activity
The teacher is to take a needle and prick the end of one finger of the rubber glove.
Secondly, use a pencil to widen the hole on the glove.
Thirdly, fill the glove with water.
Fourth, tie the open end of the glove so that water will not spill.
Now, hold the top of the glove and squeeze the fingers on the glove to milk the 'cow' into the box.

To strengthen hand muscles through squeezing action during the Cow Milking activity.
