Human Activities
Rapid population growth is a major driving force of air pollution in the environment affecting air quality especially in large cities. It is the large concentration of people and the activities that they engage in that causes an increase in pollution affecting air quality.
Urbanization areas are producing 75% of the carbon dioxide emissions polluting the air and affecting air quality.

What is air pollution?
Air pollution refers to the release of pollutants into the air that are detrimental to human health and the planet as a whole.
Air pollution is a mixture of natural and man-made substances in the air we breathe. It is typically separated into two categories: outdoor air pollution and indoor air pollution.

Prevention
Environmental policies should be put into place that incentivize companies to decrease their amount of pollution.
Air pollution is detrimental to the environment and our health as humans and we need stricter regulation.
We need to enact environmental policies or enact incentives to influence companies to improve technology to reduce air pollution

We need to continue to decrease levels of primary pollutants in order to improve air quality that suits the standards of human health.

In order to maximize sunlight, we have to reduce air pollution since it reduces the amount of sunlight that reaches Earth’s surface.
