- ML identifies the scope of the project and who needs to be involved internally and externally
- If required, ML goes back to the BU to align marketing brief with the BU's objectives (this step is based on business need)

- BU reaches out to Marcom Lead (ML) or vice versa.
- ML gathers information, asks relevant questions, explores options, other scenarios, etc.

- ML presents brief to internal Marcom team
- Discuss BU's objectives, budget, expected completion date, timelines.
- Determine if project can be done internally or externally. Find out about team's availability short and long-term.
- Recap next steps for follow-up meeting.
- If required, set up a separate brainstorming session with Marcom team.

- Go over project scope and discussion from the first meeting. Identify any changes, red flags, conflicts, etc.
- Identify roles and responsibilities. By now, ML should know which components can be done internally and which require external vendors.
- Verify budget and establish clear timelines.
- If external vendors will be involved, identify who will manage this process. If applicable, prepare relevant project brief for vendor(s).
- Determine channel-specific KPIs.
- Ensure that appropriate time is allocated for departmental SLAs and BU review time.
- Finalize deliverables, create Work Back Schedule.

- Provide a complete project update to BU, outlining roles, responsibilities and timelines.
- Review, take feedback and make adjustments as necessary.

- Recap action plan with Marcomm team.
- Open tickets, as required.
- Set up meetings with individual Marcomm team members to go over their roles and output.
- At the end of this step, ML to provide Marcomm team with complete timeline and project plan.

- Review staging links, drafts, test emails, creative, etc.
- Provide feedback to SMEs.
- If applicable, share first drafts with BU and invite their feedback (set up separate meetings with BU and SME).

- Review deliverables.
- Approval from BU, make changes as required
- Review with legal as required. (2 week return)

- Monitor project progress
- Share progress with BU
- Review analytics, optimize

- ML and COEs prepare wrap-up report and shares it with the team
- Ensure that final files/ documents are shared with Marcom team for future reference
