It must be able to lift up so that people can access the contents without them having to bend down as they could hurt their backs doing so.
The mechanism must be sturdy enough to support the contents of the raising item whilst also supporting the raising item itself.

Using a similar idea to a scissor lift, I could simply raise the drawers up for people to access. It would be compact and so would not get in the way/reduce space/make the object oversized.
Clients
Old people
Old people tend to suffer from back pain and are unable to bend over to access things like drawers that are lower down. This makes them a potential client for my product.
People with bad backs
Regular people who have just general bad backs may find it difficult to bend over and reach into drawers that are lower down and thus may benefit from my raising drawers idea.
Disabled people
People who have broken their backs may not be able to bend over to reach into drawers that are lower down and so may require something to lift up the drawers for access to them.
