CO2 emissions are what is being released into the air by cars, factories, and others. This is also what we refer to as pollution. When thinking about ways to reduce these emissions, there can be many ideas that can come into play. Reducing greenhouse gas from the industrial sector can include things such as fuel switching, using renewable energy, and recycling materials. Cars can make an impact by switching to more fuel-efficient or better miles per gallon. People can even decide to switch to an electric car which would reduce pollution, but it would still be using electricity which is still apart of co2 emissions. There are many factors within this topic but there are also many ways to make an impact!
“Ozone depletion, gradual thinning of Earth's ozone layer in the upper atmosphere caused by the release of chemical compounds containing gaseous chlorine or bromine from industry and other human activities” (Wuebbels 1).
