- - - - Latitude: Vertical imaginary lines measured from the equator drawn on maps to organize space on a map.
        
        Equator: A imaginary line equally spaced from both poles running around earth.
      - Longitude: Horizontal lines originating from central meridian draw on maps to organize space.
        
        International date line: A line of longitude in pacific ocean that when going west the calendar date is pushed one ahead and east you go one back.

      - Emigration: Movement away from a place
      - Internal migration: Movement within a country
      - Step Migration: Movement gradually up to richer, better off locations.
      - Chain Migration: When a pioneering group of people pulls more immigrants from their original home to their new place.
      - Cyclical Migration: When people migrate temporarily and then return home.
      - Forced Migration: When people are forced to leave their home state due to prosecution, civil war, etc
        
        Refugee: People who migration out of necessity.
        
        asylum: A place where refugees find protection.
- - - - Territorial Waters: The 12 miles off the coast of a nation. This area is under total sovereignty and legal control of the nation it's next to.
      - Contiguous Zone: The 12-24 miles off the shore of a nation. This area is only under the control of the nation in that immigration laws, stopping drug trafficking, and sanitary laws, etc can be enforced.
      - Exclusive Economic Zone: The ocean 24-100 miles off the shore of a nation. The country next to this area will have exclusive rights to all of the economic benefits of the area like fishing, oild, etc.
      - International waters: Ocean past 100 miles of a country are shared by all of the worlds countries.
      - Median Line Principal: When two countries are to close for the exclusive economic zone the ocean is just divided in half for both countries.
