Medieval Times
The Fall of Rome
For around one thousand years the Greek ruled the Mediterranean sea, followed by the Romans.The Romans admired much of what the Greeks did and used it for themselves. It took them awhile, but eventually the Romans got on there feet and thrived.
Medieval Women
Chivalry is basically morals the knights are supposed to use to maintain fair fights, but they are not usually followed.
The Crusade of Kings
Moseleum capturing Jerusalem was made huge movement for the Europeans. 1/3 of the french peasants had fever pitched zeal.
Trade and Town
Crusades connected the East and West, Europe was now populated, and feudalism wasn't needed anymore.
Knights and Warfare
Awhile after the death of Charlemagne, everything was a mess. Feudalism came hoping to calm everything down, and it worked for centuries. King orders lords, lords order knights, and peasants are ordered by everyone.
Life on Manor
Knights were a huge help to the middle ages by protecting kings and lords. Knights were heavily armored and had many deadly weapon's.
Chivalry
Lords ruled manors and estates. Relationship dynamics between lords and vessels are like vessels and peasants. Manors were at best during middle ages.
The Church
Everyone lived around the church. Middle ages was called ¨Age of Faith¨ because of the significance of church. Pope was the ruler of the church and the whole system. Cathedrals were extra special churches and you were very fortunate if you had one in your town.
Guilds
Ages between 1000 and 1300 is when big growth of trade, towns and craft unions became. towns developed into Cities.
Crusades
Castles were near towns with everything they would need and were occupied by lords and their ladies. They had many form or entertainment and protection.
Charlemagne
Rome fell and gave its political power to what we know as France. Leaders such as Charlemagne, didn't want Islamic faith armies coming p they could keep promoting Christianity. Latin was then taught.
Castles
Middle ages was very much masculine. average women didn't have much rights but it was better for noble women. noble women are taught actual life things. life seemed very romantic for medieval women, but t was not.
Feudalism
Middle class kept growing and getting richer. Guilds are helpful relationships between merchants to get special privileges. This became the Renaissance era.
