ADÁN BARERRA- Runs 1/3 of the Sinaloa Cartel, inherited from his uncle. 'Before his fall, Adaán was El Señor de los Cielos- the Lord of the Skies, the most powerful patron in the world' (Winslow, 11). Murdered by Art Keller.
Nacho Esparza- Running 1/3 of the Sinaloan Cartel alongside Barrera & the Tapia's. The 'King of Meth' is Adan's adviser, partner and father-in-law (Eva's father)
Eva Esparza- Daughter of Nacho she is married to Adan to strengthen ties and provide him with an heir to take over the business

Magda Beltran- Adan's mistress, lover, confidante and adviser. He begins his relationship with her at Puente Grande, however, she becomes her own narco boss. Murdered by Zeta's whilst carrying Adan's child.

Gordo Contreras- Osiel's brother who takes over as the figurehead of the CDG Cartel after his death.
Miguel Morales 'Forty'- Murdered by Chuy, with his face sewn on to a football 'Chuy takes his knife, makes a horizontal incision across the top of Forty's head, near the scalp line. Then he grabs the flap of skin and peels down as Forty screams' (Winslow 605)
