Student B is a 15 year old female in grade 10. She consistently talks during class, often falls asleep, is missing homework, and does poorly on tests. She has been moved to the front and center of class, away from her friends which has decreased her talking and sleeps a little less. Her English is well below her grade level. Yet, she often feels confident that she completely understands the assignments. When speaking with her, she does not seem to be concerned that she is failing the class.
