Personal Mobile Devices used for Business Purposes Policy
Registration
Device must be registered with HR
Device can not be used to download or transfer business sensitive information which includes but not limited too intellectual property or inner functioning of the company
Device should be backed up regularly
Device owner should make a reasonable effort to ensure company information is not compromised by way of said device.
Device should be kept up to date
Theft or Damage to device should be reported immediately
Device should not be shared with others not also within the Business.
While on company property the device must abide by company internet policy.
Security
Device must never be left unattended.
Whenever possible device should remain on the person or securely locked away
Device should be carried as luggage when traveling by aircraft
Device should be kept up to date
Virus software should be used if device is android or windows phone that is prone to viruses or malware
Employees
All employees will sign non-disclosure agreement and device policy agreement.
Stipend is provided for employees that have sign and adhere to the Personal Mobile Device Policy
Policy validation
The company has the right to revoke personal mobile device stipend in lieu of a device provided by the company if these standard policies are not met.
