TYPES OF ILLNESSES
Infectious illnesses
Are the ones caused by pathogens like viruses, bacteria, protozoa, fungi and some invertebrates such as tapeworms.
Examples: tuberculosis, VIH, Flu, chickenpox, between others.
They can be transmitted, in a direct or indirect form.
Non-infectious illnesses

They can not be transmitted and develop as a result of other causes such as aging, accidents, congenital conditions or lifestyle habits.
