Example: Facebook's data breach left 87 million users compromised. A British businessman sent a survey and paid $5 for those who completed the survey. However, in order to access the survey, the user had to log into facebook and through this, they accessed many facebook users' information.

DDos
Example: GitHub had a DDos attack that overloaded the with 1.3 Terabytes of data per second. It caused the site to go offline for 5 minutes and take 1 week to clean up the mess made.

Phishing Scam
Definition: A fraudulent way of obtaining sensitive information. Used by sending someone an email to a site that requires them to input their password. This gives the hacker the personal information that they want.
Example: Hackers used a phishing scam against Fazio Mechanical which is a 3rd person company to gain access to 110 million Target customers. The actor sent a Fazio Mechanical employee an email and asked to input his information. This allowed him to steal the info. It is concerning for companies knowing one employee clicking on an email can cause make a company lose a lot of information.

Definition: A program on a computer that does something that the owner does not intend; it can arise on your computer in different ways
