Frame By Frame Animation

Some people want to use Adobe Animate, but don’t have the money to buy it. Vectorian Giotto is a great alternative, although you have to get it from a third-party website because it is so old.
Pencil2D is a open source, free animation software that is focused on frame by frame animation. It has a small size, it is easy to install and is available on 8 different types of systems.
Stop-Motion Animation
Every frame is made by taking a photo of something, then moving the thing you want to animate a tiny bit or a big bit, depending on how fast or slow you want the framerate to be.
-
After you have taken photos of what you want to animate, you then ‘stitch’ the photos together to make your animation.
