Anxious John
Tier 1 intervention
John gets anxious if he doesn't know what to expect in the class, so teachers prepare study notes beforehand and give it to him before him so her knows what to expect in the follow time slot. Also teachers breakdown assginment in the study notes and help him start the assignemt.
John can get anxious and frustrated during the class even when he just can't find a specific pencil or workbook. Remind him to get everything ready before class. During the class, let him take neccessary breaks, such as bathroom run or just stand up and walk in the classroom however this should not interrupt other students's working.

- Each intervention should be tried for a minimum of 4 weeks, & more than 1 intervention may be implemented at the same time
- If your data indicates no progress after a minimum of 6 months, you may consider moving to tier 2 interventions

When some things have trigged him to get anxious in the classroom. Teachers try to teach relaxing techniques to help hi calm down, such a deep breathing, giving him a stress ball, count to 10 and etc.
Tier 2 intervention
When John exhibits consistent and significant behavior problems that interfere with their learning and/or others in the class, eachers create Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) to invovle teachers, staff, parents more actively
After tracking and analyzing the behaviors function, utilize one of the behavior plan forms below to create a plan as to which specific behaviors you will address and what specific interventions and class supports you will provide to address the behaviors.
Meet with the student, teachers, parent, and support staff to review the behavior plan, giving copies to everyone and having everyone sign the plan
After tracking the behaviors, teachers may choose to perform a Functional Behavior assessment, which takes the behavior data and helps you to analyze it and decide on why the student may be engaging in the behavior
Implement the behavior plan for 2-4 weeks, using a data tracking tool to track progress, and then meet with the team again (student, teachers, parents, support staff) to review progress and make any necessary changes

John's anxiety in the classroom doesn't decrease but continues or increase. Teachers need to use Tier 2 Daily behavior form to track the data.
Tier 2 interventions still seem not decrease John's anxiety and help him focus and stay on track in the classroom. you may consider moving to tier 3 interventions
