The Pit and The Pendulum
The Spanish Inquisition captured the narrator so that he starts getting crazy and kills himself by throwing himself in a pit
After days of not succeeding on killing him, the monks put him in a bed tied up with belts so that he doesn't escape from a pendulum that will kill him cutting through his heart
After that some rats bite the belts so that he escaped and after that the walls began to get hot and get more stretch and when he is about to throw himself on the pit a french general saves him

Black Cat
one day he gets very mad with the cat and removes his eye but after that another day he kills him by hanging it from a tree and that night his house was destroyed by a fire
after that the man finds another cat same as the past cat but it has a white stain in his breast that after a while has a draw of a gallow
A man who has many pets and his wife loves very much specially a black cat, the man begins to drink more and more and becames moody and irritable
He becames mad with the new cat and while trying to kill him instead kills his wife and her body is hidden behind a wall but when the cops came to search the house when he strikes the wall with a cane the cat was where the body and he starts to scream and the cops discover where the body was
The Oval Portrait
Two persons were travelling through the Apennine Mountains in Italy but one was badly hurt and they decided to break in a Castle that they founded to rest there
When one of them was inspecting the castle he founded a book that talked about the paintings of the castle and he was interested in one that was very realistic
The painting was called the Oval Portrait and it was about a couple that the artist wanted to paint her but he painted her so realistic that he didn't paid attention to her and when he finished she disappeared
The Tell-Tale Heart
A man hated his neighbor's eye not him so every night tries to get it off him but one day when he was doing it the man woke up
And because that day he couldn't resist anymore he killed him but another neighbor heard a scream and called the police and he hid the body very well
When the police came he they didn't know where it was but after some time the man started to hear his heart and he couldn't resist anymore the sound so he told the police where it was
