The whole concept of this trailer is to indicate two ways of how winter is seen. Firstly as a beautiful scenery, the cold air and setting a wondrous aesthetic. Nothing about Christmas is involved thoroughly because i want the trailer to seem less dense with people and more concentrated on the nature of winter and how i'm going to convey this is by only having one character involved to really point out the wonders of winter. This character will also point out the bitterness of winter too as there is another perspective on winter that is quite negative.
I think the characteristics of winter should be similar to the characteristics of my actress as that will help set the tone for both halfs of the trailer. It could then also be interpreted as the character taking winter in a human form and the cold surroundings could be a reflection of her feelings. I want this trailer to be mysterious and have more than one meanings to it, i think it's better this way because it'll help keep the audience engaged into the story line and get them thinking whilst also posting on a social media platform will help them feel more into it and more excited.
Beauty side of winter:
- The trees
- Side shot of face
- Walking in the distance
- Snow
- The view
- Possibly horses on a field
- Nails shown with bed sheets as a background
- Ruffling of bed sheets
- Hair laid on pillow
- Blue eyes
For the beauty side of winter, i think there should be cross cuts of being outside and inside. Outside will be in a forest and inside will be in a bedroom with candles lit. It's more so just creating an aesthetic so taking in consideration of the small things, zooming into the details really does create a vibe.
