Ancient Sumer was occupied in the land between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in southern Mesopotamia, now modern Iraq.

In ancient Sumer the land was very dry and there was little wood and almost no metal, however the people found a clever ways to not just survive but create an extraordinary civilisation.
Ancient Sumer was from 4500-400BC small settlements grew by around 3500 BCE they had turned into large cities
Why I chose Sumer

Because the place that sumer is located is a very isolated place and dry, and that means the way they survived was really smart and advanced that is why I chose ancient sumer.
