(How the author describes people) When the villains capture Peter he has is facial features described as "common and bland".
(Shows when every thing changes) On page one it describes on how every thing began, (this is when Peter got bit by the spider). It describes being bit by the spider by "hot", and, "i'm glowing".
(Most important theme) On page ten it describes on the most important theme, in which is (in my opinion) when Peter talks about why he does his job. He describes it as "A way to make a difference" or that "to fight means to fight a goof fight".
(Describes a character) On page 20 it describes the character "Aunt May" when she has an argument with Peter, she says stuff like "why would you blame that on me"?! or "what makes you think its me".
(Describes conflict) When peter fights Hippo and the other villains he says he's "pulling his punches".
(Shows a character has changed) Peter was arguing with a villain and actually agreed with his point of view, he said "Honestly Electro your right".
-
(How a conflict resolves) This scene describes when peters about to get unmasked by a villain, peter savior says "he's just an average looking white guy from New York."
(How the author describes places) the author calls New York "a place for normal civilians", he also describes it as "bland and common".
(Important dialogue) Peter accidentally walks in the house with his spider costume on, his aunt says this "I saw it all long, i'm your aunt after all".
(Allusions) While peter was looking around through the past books he read, you can see a glimpse of a "Scorers Stone Harry Potter Book" in his collection. . - pg 128
(How the author handles metaphors) The book uses some metaphors, it really only uses ones like "spider mans suit is as red as the Jupiter spot"!
(When is the author is poetic) The author is not very poetic, the only time when he/she was poetic is when peter captured and he sings a lullaby in a poetic tone.
(When it shows the theme of the book) In the beginning it shows Peter saying that Octivias (a villain) took over his body and the book is based on what he does after what Octavias did to the city with Peters body.
(The flaws of the book) The only flaw is when spider man is fighting, the fight scenes are very "primitive".
(Moral problems of a character) The spider woman who had also got bit by a spider is very immoral, she uses mild swores, as well as rude comments.
(World view from author) I think the author thinks highly of his series, he makes references in the book such as "I really want to tell the world about this book, e-er-r I mean l rally need to tell the world about the panda"!
(How the setting affects the plot) The setting, New York, is very suitable for the plot. In New York there are plenty of crimes, as well as a good place for superheros to dwell.
(Foreshadowing in the book) In the part where it shows the Jameson New York Times (pg 46). News Reporters use plenty of foreshadowing for what Spider Man will do in the future.
(An issue in the world) Fighting crime is used a lot in the comic series but a specific enemy (Electro) kept breaking out of prison to fight Peter, this reminds me of real world incidents that have something to do with prison break.
I think Spider Man meeting the Spider Lady has been a big development in the story, the Spider Lady has made a huge impact in the story alone too.
Another Example is when she helps him against the lady who kidnapped peter when she tries to unmask him.
