Location
Absolute location (exact coordinates of someone's location based on global grid, i.e. latitude and longitude)
Latitude - lines that run east to west, and show how far north/south something is.
Longitude - lines that run north to south, and show how far west/east something is.
GPS - (Global Positioning System) navigation system which shows exact location based on latitude and longitude.
GIS - (Geographic Information Systems) program which lets users make visual representations of geographic data.

Secondary - taking raw materials and manufacturing them to sell. Ex: car parts, clothing materials.
Tertiary - selling finished products or moving them around. Ex: restaurants, doctors.
Industrialization (development from a primary sector economy to a secondary or tertiary one, focused on manufacturing.)
More-developed countries - more industralized, with higher per capita income levels.
Less-developed countries - less industrialized, with lower per capita income levels.
Human Development Index - measures education levels, life expectancy, and per capita income to determine a country's development.
Globalization - The process of interaction between people, companies, and governments worldwide.
Pros: can give poor countries chance to develop economically. Promotes free trade, flow of ideas.
