Understand and recognise there are other civil rights groups at this time, struggling and battling, and dealing with violence but for the purpose of this assignemnt (and word constraints) you'll be solely exploring black civil rights.

Black Civil Rights Activists twisted the abhorrent violence against their cause and made it helpful to their cause, whilst doing minimal violent acts in retaliation. Thus, it was a help in their eventual battle in civil rights. But it shouldn't have had to be this way.
