- the fact of two things being seen or put together to create a contrasting effect.
- placing things together in order to create contrasting comparison, and to exaggerate that effect.
- the act or instance of placing two or more things side by side to compare or contrast, in order to create an interesting effect of an unusual juxtaposition.
- can create juxtaposition often with colour, size etc.
