If not balanced bodies/brains won't grow as affectively and healthily
Prevents children from becoming malnourished/undernurished
If wrong diet, they won't have enough energy so they won't bog out and do physical activity which risks them becoming obese
Rest and Exercise
If not enough sleep chance of being overweight
Lack of sleep could mean that they cannot concentrate which in turn means they don't develop as well and won't join in physical activities as they are to tired and not enough energy which could lead to obesity.
