causes of climate change - milankovich cycles, sunspots and volcanic activity
volcanoes
volcanic eruptions it cools the planet down because the ashes cover the suns view from the earth (the sulfur dioxide from gasses condense in the upper atmosphere to form sulfur aerosols, which reflect the solar radiation) you would need a big volcano to actually do it though
sunspots
there are storms on the suns surface that are marked by intense magnetic activity. which cause solar flares and hot gassy ejections from the suns corona (more sun spots=hot, less sun spots=cold
milankovich cycls
ECCENTRICITY every 10000 years the earths orbit moves from elliptical to circular. when its circular the earth will experience an ice-age because it is further from the sun. OBLIQUITY when the earth is tilted at an angle of 23.5. this can change if the earths is tilted at a lower angle (e.g. 22.5) then there is less melting at the poles. if the angle is greater there will be more melting at the poles. this happens every 41000 years. RECESSION every 26000 years the earth wobbles. this means that the poles switch. depending upon where we are in our procession around the sun, this can make our seasons more extreme

our changing climate
The greenhouse effect is a warming of Earth's surface and the air above it. It is caused by gases in the air that trap energy from the Sun. These heat-trapping gases are called greenhouse gases. The most common greenhouse gases are water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane.
The enhanced greenhouse effect, sometimes referred to as climate change or global warming, is the impact on the climate from the additional heat retained due to the increased amounts of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases that humans have released into the earths atmosphere since the industrial revolution.
the development gap
the development gap is the disparity between the HIC's and LIC's. why are some countries desperately poor e.g. Central African republic, and some are very rich e.g. Luxembourg
