      - 3rd: If the behavior still continues I would offer the students choices. This is continued on the connected branch
- - - - 3rd: If the student continues to bring up the issue after speaking with him and giving him breaks during class, I would schedule a meeting with myself, the student, and the dean of discipline to see how we could work this out together.
        
        Depending on what the parents, student, dean of discipline and the teacher comes up with if this continues further there will be automatic consequences. All negative behaviors will be written into Gradelink so that the teachers and administration can see if this is a pattern between the two students.
        
        Write a letter home to let the parents know what is happening in class and how the behavior is affecting other students in the class.
        
        Possibly have a sit down meeting with the parents to see why this is happening and if the student will be able to continue this class without any interruptions. Religion can be a very touchy subject for all parties involved.

- - - - 3rd: If the student still causes disruptions, he might be too distracted in the classroom with his peers. Have the student work in the hub for a few days and then reintroduce him into the classroom to see if that has any effect.
        
        4th: If student is still causing disruptions then sit down with the Dean of discipline and ask that the student be removed from the class until they are willing to work quietly in the class without disrupting other students. All work will be given to them to work in the hub.
        
        Make sure to keep parents up to date on all thing that are happening in the classroom.
      - If the student does well not to cause disruptions, use the Liveschool merit system to reward them for their positive behavior.
- - - - This works well for students for middle and secondary students if the rewards are set up right.
        
        Examples of rewards
    - - Offer choices and they can follow those choices. If they do not pick a choice I will pick one for them. If they don't like my choice then if they change their behavior they can choose a different choice.
        
        Choice 1: They can change their seats so they are not tempted to talk to one another.
        
        Choice 2: They can continue to sit next to one another but if there are any more disruptions in class, the teacher will assign their seats for the year and there will be automatic consequences for any other disruptions.
        
        Choice 3: We will have a three-strikes sheet. Each time they talk they will get a strike on the reward sheet. If they make three strikes they will owe the teacher three merits. If they have zero strikes on their reward sheet then they will get three extra merits at the end of the class.
      - If this continues further there will be automatic consequences. All negative behaviors will be written into Gradelink so that the teachers and administration can see if this is a pattern between the two students.
        
        Students will be asked to leave the classroom and go to the office to explain to the Dean of Discipline why they are being sent to the office.
        
        Lunch time or after school detention.
        
        Not being allowed back into the classroom until the students agree to no longer speak during the lesson. They can instead so all their work in the office with the Dean of Discipline.
        
        If this is a pattern the administration will move on the yellow-orange-red consequences sheet written in the teacher and student handbook.
        
        Level 1: teacher detention/contact parent/ loss of privileges
        
        Level 2: Parent contacted/ student and parent teacher contract signed/ Saturday detention
        
        Level 3: In-school suspension/ out of school suspension/ student support plan
