– Closely align to Knowles principles and assumptions of Andragogy as learning theory

• Active learning centred around contextual problems
• Learning must be relevant
– Infuse Social constructivism principles of communication and collaboration in learning
– Experiential hands on learning to ensure that they “do” and “create”

– Observe Thought Leaders in this space
• Both Curriculum experts as well as ICT Integration experts
– Become and maintain status as a subject matter expert
• Life Long learning; active engagement with ICT tools and trends for the classroom
– Actively seek out opportunities for self-promotion• Make myself available to present at ICT conferences, symposiums, seminars• Move into foreground on a more regular basis and make my stamp when given the opportunity
Develop an Online Persona. • Develop a online voice on social media platforms geared for connecting
Twitter, LinkedIn,Facebook,Instagram • Choose platforms wisely, see if they will contribute to raising profile
• Actively Follow identified experts in the ICT Integration field
• Post regularly; NOT continuously
• Like and share opinions of thought leaders so that you create awareness of your handle/profile
• Be part of Twitter communities such as #ZAEdu
• Host Twitter discussions on current topics in education and the field of ICT Integration
• Be courageous in voicing educated opinions
• Create original content and post for discussion/comment
• Be knowledgeable about current trends in the ICT Integration field
• Be certain of content that is posted before you repost
